Built in 1573 by the Wynne family of Gwydir, descendants of Owain Gwynedd, last king of North Wales, Plasglasgwm is an historic farm offering guest accommodation, farmyard café and extensive gardens.

Over the centuries, previous owners have included Lord Penrhyn, Lord Mostyn and The National Trust. Following decades of dereliction, the present owners have restored the original house, farm buildings and land. Plasglasgwm is an example of an authentic 16th Century farm holding.

Situated in a courtyard setting, Llety offers contemporary guest accommodation within a period setting, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

A converted long barn, once home to sheep and cattle, this historic building offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to six guests, great for families and friends alike.

Just the two of you looking for somewhere cosy to stay?

Hidden behind a small farm door and tucked away under the eaves in the old cow shed, Llety Bach is the perfect hideaway for two.

Featuring wooden roof timbers and sloping ceilings, and a super king size bed that can be separated for two twin beds, this room is ideal for both couples and friends wanting a cosy rural retreat.

New for 2026 is Llofft, the original hayloft, up well-worn stone steps to an open-plan loft room, overlooking the farm courtyard.

This spacious suite for two guests features exposed beams and wooden flooring, super king-size bed which can be separated for two twin beds, ensuite shower room and large living area.

During your stay here, enjoy exploring the five acres of garden and grounds, painstaking restored and developed by the owners, now partnered with The National Garden Scheme. Wander through the recently replanted orchard of Welsh apple trees; meander back and forth across our stream to discover a variety of formal borders and natural woodland, and attempt to sit on our Big Bench high up in the top woods, with a far-reaching view down the valley of Glasgwm.

Plasglasgwm also has a fully licensed coffee shop and bistro on site, providing breakfast and evening meals by arrangement. The Bottom Shed is a cosy place to sit and grab a coffee and locally made cake during your stay, or for larger groups of guests, the perfect venue for your special celebratory event.

*Please note that Cwt Mochyn rooms are only bookable as additional sleeping for Llety. Easter – October only.
