Where in Wales is Portmeirion? You may or may not have heard of Portmeirion before, a village flocked to by tourists and tucked away in Gwynedd in North Wales. It boasts a great an intimate location from which to go exploring all the beauty and wonders of Eryri (Snowdonia), as it is right on the skirts of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and only an approx. 40-minute drive to the base of Snowdon itself.
